Child-friendly bar in central Barcelona
Bar APZ is a family-friendly bar on Carrer d'Estruc, just behind Plaça de Catalunya: easy to get into with a pushchair, with simple dishes for the children.

At the table
What can the children eat?
The set lunch menu changes, but it usually includes simple dishes such as grilled salmon with potatoes and salad. The menu also has Spanish potato omelette, Iberian ham croquettes and combination plates like escalope with chips and a fried egg. José is behind the bar: just ask him for whatever you need.

Pushchairs, toilets and the terrace
Accessible entrance and toilet
The entrance, toilet and seating are all suitable for wheelchairs. Getting in with a pushchair is just as easy.
Simple dishes every day
If the set menu doesn't appeal to them, the menu has a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, a plain omelette baguette or bread rubbed with tomato.
A terrace right in the centre
If you'd rather eat outdoors, the terrace opens straight onto the street, with no steps. There's usually room without booking, except at lunchtime, when it fills up.
